Account & Data Deletion Request
At AniCouple, we believe you should have complete control over your account and personal data. Below are the ways you can permanently request deletion of all your user information, chat histories, locations, and media files.
Method 1: Delete Directly from the App (Recommended)
Deleting your account from inside the app is instantaneous and purges all records permanently. To do this:
- Open the AniCouple app on your device.
- Go to your profile or navigation bar and open Settings.
- Under the Data Management section, tap on Delete My Account.
- Confirm your selection to instantly remove all account details, unpair your relationship, delete photos/chats, and sign you out permanently.
Method 2: Request Deletion via Email Support
If you have already uninstalled the app and wish to request deletion of your account and personal data, you can email us directly.
Please send an email from the address registered with your AniCouple account requesting data deletion to our support team:
What Data is Deleted?
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following items from our database:
- User Profile: Your name, email address, custom avatars, and Google auth login bindings.
- Relationship Link: The connection linking you and your partner is destroyed.
- Shared Chats & Media: All text messages, custom stickers, voice notes, and gallery photos uploaded by either user are completely deleted from the database and servers.
- Checklist & Milestones: All lists, relationship goals, custom milestones, and anniversaries are deleted.
- Device Tokens & Logins: FCM notification tokens are removed so you will never receive notification alerts.
* Note: This action is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
